OK Go releases emotional coronavirus music video to benefit healthcare nonprofit

OK Go, the band known for creative, mind-boggling music videos, is back with an emotional new song and video that they recorded in quarantine.

After their 2006 treadmill video for "Here It Goes Again" went viral, OK Go went on to wow fans with other elaborate executions, including a zero-gravity stunt, some intense umbrella choreography, and more. But the latest video, for a new song called "All Together Now," is stripped down and carries a serious message.

Described by frontman Damian Kulash as the band's "somber prayer for hope," the song was inspired by the "nightly cheer for the frontline workers" in Los Angeles and Rebecca Solnit's piece in The Guardian, titled, "'The impossible has already happened': what coronavirus can teach us about hope."
